Sarah Ricks
I am currently a student at the University of Utah pursuing my Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies. This fall I will be starting my final year in the program and will be graduating in the spring of 2027.
My foundation is rooted in architectural thinking; systems, spaces, and storytelling. Where ideas are developed through structure, hierarchy, and intentional design decisions. I’m drawn to how design shapes experience across scales, from physical environments to digital media. I am always looking for opportunities to improve my graphic skills and craftsmanship. Intrigued by how visual systems can communicate clear, culturally relevant narratives.
My work is process driven and iterative, shaped by critique and refinement, with a strong focus on conceptual clarity and visual communication. I’m actively seeking opportunities to strengthen my graphic design skills and expand into furthering the intrigue in my visual work, learning more software tools, and refining my skills in digital media, and experiential design. I have a strong interest in integrated creative workflows and enjoy collaborative work as well as solo endevours. Along with my knowledge of adobe suites and 3d modeling softwares, I bring a passion for visual effects, physical modeling, and hands-on experimentation with a focus on form and composition.
I thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments where ideas evolve quickly and where detailed oriented work is essential. I’m especially interested in contributing to work that is both visually compelling and conceptually strong. I find my strongest projects connect design to meaningful, contemporary narratives across digital and experiential platforms.
